A reminder that F Gas courses, leading to the City and Guilds 2079 in Refrigerant Handling qualification (category 1 as standard), are running all year and can be taken in a number of different ways depending on your experience and background.

A reminder that F Gas courses, leading to the City and Guilds 2079 in Refrigerant Handling qualification, are running all year and can be taken in a number of different ways depending on your experience and background.

For experienced RAC engineers:

1 day Assessment Only - No training just the practical test and on-line exam

2 day Extra Theory - A day to refresh the theory followed by the assessment

3 day Extra Theory and Practical - A day to refresh practical skills followed by theory and assessment as above

For less experienced engineers:

5 day F Gas course, either Service and Maintenance or Air Conditioning, Installation and Service

For more in depth and Copper Brazing:

Our 10 day (excluding the middle weekend) Combined Service and Installation course includes the City and Guilds 2079 in Refrigerant Handling and the City and Guilds 6187-21 Copper Brazing qualifications. Usually working on refrigeration equipment this course can be run on air conditioning equipment if requested.

Leak Testing

For anyone just needing a leak testing qualification the City and Guilds 2079 category 4 can be taken as a 1 day, stand-alone course, or combined with our Maintenance course.
